The Evolution of Primordial Knowledge |
The odds of a random amino acid chain
evolving in the soup are quite poor, but what about a protein? A protein is not a sequence
of random amino acids. The order and type of amino acids in a protein determine how it
folds, how it behaves, and its biological function. The sequences are not random. They
contain knowledge. The odds of a functional protein evolving are certainly expected to be
much less than that of a random sequence. next: ATP Binding |
